The Opening Ceremony of the 67^th Festival de Cannes took place tonight in the Grand Théâtre Lumière.

After the theme of the film The Piano by Jane Campion performed by Michael Nyman, Lambert Wilson welcomed on stage the Feature films Jury: Nicolas Winding Refn, Jia Zhangke, Gael Garcia Bernal, Willem Dafoe, Jeon Do-yeon, Leila Hatami, Sofia Coppola, Carole Bouquet and her President, Jane Campion. 

The Festival was declared open by Chiara Mastroianni and Alfonso Cuarón and the Ceremony continued with the screening Out of Competition of Olivier Dahan’s Grace of Monaco, with the key members of the movie crew in attendance.
